Yes, it has been a while, I know... but time is irrelevant according to Albert Einstein. Anyway, things around school are winding down; of course Martin was going to sabotage Homecoming. Fortunately for all you lovers out there I talked him out of it. Lucky you I have amazing powers of persuasion. But enough of that, my contact who goes to Franklin alerted me that there was gonna be a band competition there, and that the Spartans were making an appearance. I honestly didn’t want to go, but something kept telling me that it was going to epic. I went, watched Martin nearly bowl over a freshman, noted hundreds of screw-ups in all of the bands, and ate powdered donuts. To my amazement, Stevenson took home a 3-dimensional trophy for second place! Weird. Anyways, I went home, got bored, walked around town, etc; seriously jacked up day. Anyways, life gets really boring. But at least it’s worth living. And another thing, when you see Martin, tell him he's an idiot for me; thanks.

All's Fair in Love and War
Yes, it's me again. My good friend Martin probably got the word out. If not, I'm gonna kick his butt so hard, he won't need a plane ticket to the Philippines. Even if he doesn’t need it, he’s so light; he can get there on the wind if he wanted. Anyway, I was in and out of sleep during the rule presentation today, but the Jostens guy was pretty cool. I checked the site out and made my own class ring, not very exciting though. But after the presentation, I fell right to sleep in fourth hour. It wasn’t band though, that’s Martin’s fourth. But enough about my schedule, it’ll give my identity away.
I watched marching band practice again (this isn’t Martin writing). I think Mrs. Wickman’s her name? She ran the band through the same thing, for about an hour and a half. I talked to Martin about it after, and he was seriously pissed off about it! I mean, so dang mad that he was ranting on about how much he wanted to make a plaster replica of a certain someone and tear that certain someone’s head clean off. But enough about that, I got to hear the band play through the first two parts of their show. Again, I was quite impressed. Remember that Martin dished dirt on the first post. I am actually giving the band four out of five; though they could fix their playing.
The week so far has been quite uneventful, though Martin told me he saw a car on fire in front of his house this morning. But whatever, I’ve seen worse. So, whenever I write again, Peace.

The Beginning of the End
Readers,
My name isn't important, but I'm from Stevenson High in the lowly town of Livonia, MI. Not the best entrance, I know. Anyway, I just finished the first (horrifying) week of school. My first hour teacher's crazy, my second; even crazier! Fourth hour sounds like crap, and my third hour's the only good hour. Everything’s a mess, especially the Marching Band
I've stayed after school to watch the Band practices, they're pretty good, except the Saxophones can't make a decent diagonal, curve, or line; it's quite pitiful. Low Brass are too quiet, that or I can’t hear them above the disgusting sound coming from the flutes and clarinets. The trumpet section is on the complete opposite end of the spectrum than the other sections, they're practically robotic; they march so well!
You'd think I'd be a person who'd be dorky enough to have this time, right? WRONG!!! I'm a happy sophomore I’ve got all the friends I need (or want), and yet I felt like ranting at the school since I'd be suspended for saying this out loud. I'll try to keep an eye out for new things to tease and talk smack about. Until then, Ciao
